Terms of service

These terms cover your use of EduHire, operated by FILL IN — registered company name, FILL IN — registered address. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
What EduHire is
EduHire introduces teachers to schools with vacancies near them. We help both sides find each other, and we support the process through to a placement.
EduHire is not an employer. We do not employ teachers, we are not party to your employment contract, and we do not pay salaries. Your employer is the school that hires you, and the terms of that job are between you and them. Nothing here creates an employment relationship with EduHire.
EduHire is a separate service from MNTTA’s teacher training. Holding an MNTTA certificate is not required to use it, and holding one does not entitle you to a placement.
For teachers
Using the service is free
Teachers never pay EduHire. There is no registration fee, no fee to apply, and no fee if you are placed. Anyone asking you to pay EduHire for a job is not acting for us — please tell us if that happens.
Your account
- Give accurate information. Your qualifications, experience and location are what schools rely on, and a placement built on a wrong detail tends to fail for everyone.
- One account per person. Your account is yours; do not let someone else use it.
- Only upload documents that are yours to upload.
- You can pause your profile at any time so schools stop seeing it, and you can ask us to delete your account.
What we do not promise
We cannot promise you a job, an interview, or any particular number of openings near you. Whether a school hires you is the school’s decision. We also do not verify every claim a school makes about a role, though we do check that schools are real and act on complaints.
For schools
- Placement fee. When a teacher we introduced joins your school, a placement fee is payable on the terms agreed with you in writing. That agreement governs the amount and the timing.
- Do not go around the platform. If you hire a teacher EduHire introduced, the fee is payable whether or not the hire happened through the platform.
- Teacher information is for hiring for the role it was shared for. Do not reuse it for anything else, and do not pass it to anyone outside your organisation.
- Describe roles accurately — salary, hours and duties. Teachers make real decisions on what you post.
- Hire lawfully. You are responsible for employment law, for the contract, and for any background checks your school requires.
Conduct
Whichever side you are on, do not use EduHire to:
- impersonate someone else, or post information you know to be false
- harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone
- collect other people’s personal information for your own purposes
- advertise anything other than a genuine teaching vacancy
- attempt to access parts of the service that are not yours
Messages sent through the platform may be checked automatically for contact details being shared prematurely, and may be reviewed by an administrator if flagged.
Suspending or closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used to defraud or harm someone. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
You may close your account at any time by emailing us. Closing it does not cancel a placement fee already owed.
Availability
We aim to keep EduHire running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you depend on, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.
Liability
EduHire is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of earnings, or for what a school or a teacher does after we introduce them.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect rather than only changing this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
